MARK BIEK - CODE MECHANIC
Mark Biek is a software developer with an extensive background in Windows and Palm development.
Specializing in end-user and administrator applications and web suite back-ends, Mark has written a variety of applications for the desktop, Palm, PocketPC and the web. Past projects have included a PalmOS-based web browser and web-enabled user management applications, real-time location tracking software, and emergency room patient data collection web software.
Mark also manages the network infrastructure for several small companies. This includes file sharing, email, DNS, web servers and general computer support for Linux and Windows.
Since graduating from Lewis & Clark College's department of Computer Science and Mathematics, Mark has been honing his software development skills using languages such as PHP, Perl, Python, Visual C++, Visual Basic 6/.NET, Embedded C++ for PalmOS, Embedded Visual C++ (PocketPC), and ASP/ASP .NET.
With experience in a wide array of projects using a variety of languages, Mark is equally happy coding with a team of developers for an existing project as he is pounding out new code with minimal input and supervision.
Mark prides himself on the timely and accurate completion of his work.
