JOE DAVI - CATHEDRAL SOUNDS
Joe Davi has worn a wide variety of hats in the NYC music scene over
the last 15 years: session guitarist, staff engineer, sound designer,
producer, arranger and composer.
Through his production company, Cathedral Sounds, Joe has provided
scores for commercial clients including Deloitte & Touche, Chase
Manhattan, Jo Malone Perfumes, Blue Cross, National Public Radio and
the NYC Board of Education. He's contributed songs to movies for HBO Films.
He has appeared as a writer, producer or instrumentalist on countless records, working with artists such as Mya (Interscope), Keke Wyatt (MCA), Foxy Brown (Universal), Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock (Warlock), Noreaga (Penalty), Big Punisher (Loud) and The Michael Rabinowitz Quartet (Jazz Focus).
He's graced a variety of NYC venues with his presence as a live sound
engineer.
Joe combines a deep understanding of different types of music, a firm
grasp of the skills it takes to bring a project to fruition, and a
comfortable approach to the creative process.
