Audio

Joe Davi is working on a presentation to Warner Bros. for Batman On Broadway. The process, called "virtual staging," combines 5:1 sound with real-time visual images on a hi-definition back-lit video wall. Joe is also composing for an independently produced children's show.

James LeBrecht created the sound effects for Shout Creative's Lightbars installation for a Sun Microsystems presentation. As well, Jim's been busy providing sound editorial and mix for a number of independent documentaries.

Louis Lino will be playing keyboards on Nada Surf's upcoming UK tour opening for the Vines. Eight spots he composed for Fox News Channel's promo campaign "02" are airing now. Louie wrote the opening trailer music for NYC's Asian Film Festival, celebrating their 25th year.

Greg Smith composed the score for the new national Honda Civic commercial, which hits TV this week, and has been writing spots for an AT&T Broadband regional campaign.

Film & TV

Drew Carolan and Channel 4 London TV executive Giles Clarke have teamed to form Carolan Clarke Media. The duo are currently developing an art related television series, "Third Eye," and creating behind the scenes content for a Peter Fonda DVD. Drew recently visited San Francisco to photograph entertainer Tony Bennett for his upcoming Sony Music DVD.

William Robert Greenfield is currently producing "Hired Hitman 4" with LA auteur director Brian Testa. "It Could Happen," which he produced this spring, was exhibited at Ireland's Galway Film Fleadh and is screening at the LA Short Film Festival this month. Bill just finished his short "A Home For All," and is in pre-production with "Full Metal Walkie," a comic homage to Kubrick and the film industry.

Tim Hays has been providing location recording and playback for directors including Sam Bayer: Pepsi Blue, featuring Papa Roach with Timbaland; The Malloys: Papa Roach "Time & Time Again" music video and three Sega "Super Monkey Ball 2" commercials; Paul Hunter: three Dr. Pepper spots featuring Anastasia & Cindi Lauper, LL Cool J & Run DMC, and Paulina & Celia Cruz; Diane Martell: a commercial for Alias (ABC); a NERD music video; and a Snoop Dog video. And coming up, he's doing some Nike commercials with Paul Hunter.... Whew.

Kevin Moseley is presently working his Flame magic on Fox's "Daredevil," starring Ben Affleck, at Rhythm & Hues. His visual FX for Dave Matthews' "Where Are You Going?" (RCA), performed at Digital Kitchen in Seattle, have been in heavy rotation this summer and fall.

Design

Nick Allen and Laura Bruder opened a photo exhibit in San Luis Obispo, CA: bluewaterbouquet.com. Nick was awarded the contract to redesign the web sites for all of Moonstone Properties resorts in California. Nick and Laura have been shooting architecture photos (interiors and exteriors) for the Sea Coast Lodge and Blue Dolphin Inn.

Dan Psomas launched the real estate brokerage Hill & Company's web site, www.hill-co.com. The site makes extensive use of database organization and includes a web-based interface for staff to easily update information . In addition to the public site, a company intranet was formed. Culminating four months of planning, the site is designed with future growth in mind.

Jon Williams and Manmade provided a new visual identity for Chophouse Records, including their website, packaging, merchandising, clothing and other promotional materials. Jon and his company have rebranded Horizons Unlimited, a non-profit providing opportunities for at-risk youth, and continue to improve the website and marketing material for the printing company 4by6.com.

Code

Benjamin Allen has been engaged in front and back-end coding for a number of Earcom's designers, including projects with Jon Williams and Christian Bentley, and programming for Brent Williams.

Mark Biek has been developing a PocketPC application and Active Sync module for emergency room patient data collection, along with a PalmOS application and conduit for the same. He has also been creating Perl scripts for validating marketing research data files for the Stevenson Company: traqline.com.

Concept

Technical Talent continues to develop the youth organization TheDJProject.com.
